Field Producer, CBS News “48 Hours” (Nov. 2014 to present): Develop and produce true crime, hour-long newsmagazine shows based in Dallas. Cover breaking national crime news in Texas for the network, including “CBS This Morning” and “The CBS Evening News.”

Managing Editor, Culture Map Dallas (Aug. 2012-Nov. 2014): Managed a team of staff and freelance writers for daily news website covering the city of Dallas. Specialized in investigative reporting, including an award-winning series on Michele Williams, aka “The Black Widow.” Developed into two episodes for “48 Hours” titled “Temptation in Texas” (5/3/14 and 9/3/16).

Assistant Managing Editor, People Newspapers (Jan. 2012-July 2012): Edited three weekly community newspapers and helped maintain newspaper websites. Originally hired as a staff writer before being promoted (July 2010-Dec. 2011).

Peace Corps Volunteer, Ukraine (Sept. 2008- Jan. 2010): Taught English as a foreign language in a village school and wrote about the experience for the Wall Street Journal. “Not your Father’s Peace Corps,” (Aug. 21, 2009).
